Mission Blue Ethic + Aesthetic

Kimoa joins the fight for the protection of what inspires us the most, gives us a name, and gives us life: the oceans. We carry the #NeverSurrender philosophy as a flag saying that we are an active part of the change by recycling plastic waste and transforming them into clothes and other garments under the ethic and aesthetic concept.

Kimoa was born with a mission that respects the environment and animals by using, since our founding in 2017, fabrics made with organic materials and natural fibres, such as bamboo. In March 2019, we took another step in our responsibility as a textile company to establish as our only option, the fabrication of our designs with Recovertex thread and 100% recycled materials (obtained from cotton and recycled PET) and organic.

The Vision
The oceans and marine life are in grave danger. Industrialized fishing, the use of indiscriminate plastics with microplastics that are in daily household products contaminate our waters with debris that wreak havoc on marine life, causing the disappearance of fish, algae, and the continuous death of corals in the main reefs of the world.

The Mission
Many small changes give way for big change. By creating recycled products of high quality and design, we can reduce the environmental impact in the production process. We need to create garments with a circular, recycled, and recyclable life.

Our commitment against plastic goes further than production of garments; we have eliminated all kinds of plastics from our packaging, giving way to reusable and recyclable cardboard.

As for the bags that protect our garments from the moisture or dust during its trip from our warehouse to your homes, they are 100% recycled polyethylene.
